This heatshrink is a shrinkable plastic tube used to insulate wires, providing abrasion resistance and environmental protection for stranded and solid wire conductors, connections, joints and terminals in electrical work. Our military grade flexible tubing is suitable for insulation, colour coding, strain relief and protection in electrical and electronic applications. Continuous temperature rating is -55°C to 135°C and up to 300°C for short durations. Shrink ratio is 2:1 and the tubing meets stringent requirements of MIL-I-23053/5 class one.
Nominal Ø: 50mm (77mm across when flattened)
Ø when shrunk: 25mm
Please Note: Glue backed heatshrink is ideal for minimising cable movement and reducing moisture ingress into cable joins and plugs.
2:1 shrink ratio.
Flexible and hard wearing material.
Provides additional environmental protection for cable joins, connectors and sheaths.
